[Islamabad]: Pakistan cricket team’s fast-bowler Haris Rauf’s has been appointed as the goodwill ambassador of Islamabad Police.
According to the spokesperson of Islamabad Police, bowler Haris Rauf has been given the honorary rank of DSP of Capital Police. IG Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan has given the honorary rank to Haris Rauf. According to the police, Haris Rauf appointing as the goodwill ambassador, the morale and prestige of the police will increase.

Noted that, Haris Rauf has so far played 57 T20Is, 18 ODIs and one Test match for Pakistan. He has taken 18 wickets in ODI matches and 72 wickets in T20 matches so far. The fast bowler was also represents Lahore Qalandars franchise in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
