Pakistan’s former fast bowler Aqib Javed raised questions on Shaheen Afridi’s bowling.
After Pakistan’s loss to India, Pakistani players are under criticism these days. Someone is raising questions on Babar’s captaincy, some one on Nawaz bowling now Pakistan’s former fast bowler and Lahore Qalander coach Aqib Javed raised some questions on fast bowler fitness issues.
It should be noted that (Shaheen Afridi) has joined the T20 World Cup only after completing the rehab in London after the knee injury. Shaheen failed to show (fitness) and some special performances in the match between Pakistan and India. He gave 34 runs in 4 overs and failed to get any player out.
After the match, Aqib said in an interview that Afridi’s was not feeling fully fit. It should be noted that Aqib Javed is also the bowling coach of Lahore Qalandar PSL team. He further said that the player always feels fully fit after the injury. Either Shaheen himself was not try to attack well or he was having some issues while bowling, PCB should look into it. It should be noted that earlier Waqar Younis and Wasim Akram have also questioned his performance in this match.
